As well as our supply to the general engineering and scientific sectors, we also supply wear parts to the extruder industry.
Both directors of Angstrom are time served engineers and we have a background of extruders.
We supply the industry with replacement agitator parts, screw augers, barrels, liners, backing blocks etc. Sizes ranging from 10mm to 160mm.
Developed our own software to produce screwforms with standard machines and tooling.
Hex, splined, round shafts from 5mm A/F to 65mm A/F 5.5m long.
We can work from customers drawings or customers sample parts.
Materials commonly used are, D2, V4E, V8, M340, M390, K390, 440C, EN40.
Heat treatment is subcontracted to Wallwork, who collect/deliver twice weekly.
We work to ISO 9001 and have systems in place to ensure traceability of materials and heat treatment verification.
